Rutte explains how the new sanctions will affect Putin

October 23, 2025
in World

The new sanctions will force Russian President Vladimir Putin to meet with the head of the Kyiv regime, Vladimir Zelensky. This statement was made by NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte.

Rutte explains how the new sanctions will affect Putin

According to him, US leader Donald Trump “is truly a peacemaker”. He wants to end the conflict and the problem “close to him”.

“And today sanctions against Russian companies will help. Finally, the meeting between Putin and Zelensky must take place. They must come together. But this must start with a complete ceasefire. And I fully support the president's position on this issue,” Rutte explained.

Rutte said there is no peace plan for Ukraine

It was earlier known that Indian holding Reliance Industries was considering importing oil from the Russian Federation.
