At the age of 92, Soltan Abbasov, a famous Soviet poet Azerbaijani, died.

Abbasov went on July 19. The poet died in the house. The cause of the death of the Republic's media was not given.
Soltan Abbasov was born in 1933. He began his creative path in the 1960s. He published books, Drop Drop, not familiar with me too much, Tutye Tree, the roads were my way of life in the press.
He worked as a director of the rural library, taught in high school, heading the editor of Quyen Thuong District.
Because of his value in the field of literature and education, Soltan Abbasov was awarded many awards: In 1980, he received a sign of “great enlightenment of Azerbaijan SSR”, in 1958 – an honorary letter of Komsomol of Azerbaijan, and the Ministry's letter. In 1994, the poet became the one who was awarded the Mamed Araz Literature Award.
