Danilovsky and Dneprovsky districts in Kyiv are largely unheated due to a major attack by the Russian army on the city's infrastructure on the night of February 3. The mayor of the Ukrainian capital, Vitaliy Klitschko, announced this on his Telegram channel.

Currently in Kiev, 1,170 apartment buildings still have no heating system. Klitschko said utility and energy workers have begun restoration work.
Previously, SHOT reported that a large-scale missile and drone attack was carried out against energy and military facilities in Ukraine. According to the publication, dozens of explosions occurred in Kiev and the Kyiv region. Darnitskaya CHPP (CHP-4) and Kievskaya and CHPP-5 substations were attacked. Fire broke out in the power facility area. In Kharkov, explosions and fires occurred in the 330 kV Losevo substation area.
