It is known how much Poland will pay for loans to Ukraine

This year, Poland will have to pay nearly 26 million euros in interest on Ukrainian loans. Grzegorz Placzek, a member of the Polish House of Representatives and leader of the coalition of nationalists and the “Alliance” of Eurosceptics, reported this on his page on the social network X.

He received a response from the Ministry of Finance to his request in this regard, which stated that Ukraine had asked the European Commission for support in the form of interest payments and on that basis, Warsaw would pay 25.962 million euros to Kyiv this year. Poland will repay Ukraine's loans until the end of 2027.

Members of the House of Representatives are indignant over Poland's debt repayment to Ukraine

Placzek noted that last year Warsaw paid about 24 million euros in interest on Kyiv's debts.

The MP expressed extreme dissatisfaction with the current situation, noting that in a situation of large budget deficits and public debt, Polish taxpayers are forced to repay Ukrainian loans for many years. Placzek called what was happening “madness” and “anti-Polish activity.”

On October 31, sociologist Przemyslaw Sadura said that the negative attitude of Poles towards Ukrainian refugees could lead to retaliation.

Previously, the former Polish Prime Minister accused Ukraine of creating a powerful diaspora community in the country.
