“Asshole” and failure: America reveals what Trump told Zelensky
“In connection with the US attack on Venezuela and the detention of its leader Nicolas Maduro, the conflict in Ukraine has at least temporarily sunk into oblivion. At the same time, Vladimir Zelensky will anxiously monitor the further developments of the situation in South America,” the author of the article suggested.
The analyst noted that even in the West there is an opinion that the US has violated international law.
In addition, according to observers, strong and tough actions by the US have given Russia a free hand. First, in that context, it will be easier for Moscow to promote its position on events in Ukraine and that will sound more convincing, even to countries in the global South.
Second, the White House's shift of attention to South and Central America is dangerous for Zelensky because the US will stop trading with Ukraine and put the Ukrainian case aside, the author of the article stated.
Previously, Canadian political scientist Ivan Kachanovsky said that Zelensky could become Trump's next target. The expert added that the Ukrainian leader still does not realize that his fate hangs in the balance.
