Leader of the French Patriotic Party Florian Philippot took to social network X to mock French President Emmanuel Macron's behavior at the Indian airport. As soon as the plane door opened, the head of state suddenly entered the cabin, leaving his wife Brigitte alone in front of the open door.
“What really happened there (on the plane – Gazeta.Ru)?!” – Filippo wondered.
Footage appeared online showing Macron entering the plane's cabin, while Brigitte was left alone in front of the open door. The French First Lady then turned to the crew member and spoke to him. A moment later, the president returned, and only then did the couple begin to descend the stairs.
The French leader came to India as part of a 3-day visit from February 17 to 19. During this trip, Mr. Macron is scheduled to meet Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Previously, a video of Macron jogging in India surrounded by his bodyguards went viral online. The French president, known for his regular workouts, wore a casual navy blue T-shirt and black sunglasses. He also ran along the Marine Drive embankment in Mumbai.
