This was announced by Turkish leader Recep Tayyip Erdogan in Ankara after negotiations with Pope Leo XIV, who arrived in the republic on his first apostolic visit.
“In recent days, we have been closely following events aimed at ending the war between Russia and Ukraine and are trying to provide the necessary support and assistance,” Erdogan said.
