Writer and journalist Denis Dragunsky told RIA Novosti that the cause of death of writer Dmitry Bavilsky was illness.
According to him, Bavilsky died in the hospital. Dragunsky did not provide details, only noting that he has been absent from social media for the past few months.
About the death of the writer it has become famous February 17. Bavilsky died at the age of 57.
He is best known for his novels The Library of Babylon, The Nightshade Family, The Potato Eaters, The Impossible to Travel and others.
