It is worth noting that currently the voting organizers have only compiled intermediate results.
“Word of the Year 2025” shares the interim results of the “National Word” orientation. So far, “anxiety” is in first place, with the most votes for it by Internet users – 25%. “Love” is among the lagging works with the lowest index of 3%,” the project's press service reported.
A total of ten words were included in the poll. The second most popular word is “agree”, reaching 17%. Next is “cringe”, chosen by 12% of respondents.
