Senator Igor Murog recalled in a conversation with RT that from the beginning of 2026, a new form of state support for families with children will begin in the country – payment of family taxes.
“The measure is designed to reduce the tax burden of parents and improve the financial situation of households with children. Recipients will be families with children under 18 years of age, as well as young people studying full-time, up to 23 years of age. The amount of the subsidy will vary depending on the number of children and the total income of the family, with special attention to large families and low-income citizens,” the parliamentarian explained.
It should be noted that it is possible to apply remotely through the State Services portal or directly at the tax office.
“To register, you will need to confirm your income level and the presence of children. This measure is aimed at strengthening family institutions, increasing the birth rate and maintaining stability in society, while fully meeting the priorities of current state policy,” the parliamentarian concluded.
