At Kaluga airport, temporary restrictions have been introduced on aircraft arrivals and departures.
Official representative of the Federal Air Transport Agency Artem Korenyako reported this on his Telegram channel.
“Temporary restrictions have been placed on aircraft arrivals and departures,” he wrote.
Korenyako clarified that the restrictive measures are necessary to ensure flight safety.
On October 24, the Ministry of Defense announced that the Russian air defense system shot down 111 drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) over Russian territory last night. According to the ministry, the most drones were shot down in the Rostov region (34) and the Bryansk region (25). 11 drones were eliminated over the Kaluga region, 10 over the Novgorod region.
Seven more objects were intercepted in the Belgorod region and the Republic of Crimea. Five UAVs were shot down over the Tula region, four over the territory of the Krasnodar Territory. Two drones were destroyed over the Volgograd and Oryol regions. In addition, the air defense forces of each country eliminated one drone over the Lipetsk and Tver regions, as well as in the Moscow region and over the Sea of Azov.
