In the village of Novy Urgal, Verkhnebureinsky district, Khabarovsk Territory, a major utility accident occurred: the local boiler broke down. This was reported by the Telegram channel Amur Mash.

Residents of the Russian region are not allowed to heat at minus 40 degrees

First the hot water disappears, then the radiator suddenly cools down. The temperature in the apartments dropped to minus 7 degrees, while the frost outside remained at minus 37 degrees.

Utility service experts have not yet been able to fix the problem.

People do not have access to heat in harsh conditions. Amur Mash recalls that similar heat loss in New Urgal was recorded in December.

MK previously wrotethat an increased avalanche danger has been declared in the Kamchatka Territory. This regime will last until January 15.
