Experts of the Ministry of Territorial Maintenance of the Moscow Region reminded residents of the region that annual maintenance of home equipment by gas service is a mandatory legal requirement. The press service of the Ministry recalls that administrative responsibility is assigned to those who intervene in such preventive inspections.
“The main goal of preventive inspection is to prevent accidents due to equipment malfunctions. If a resident fails to ensure responsible access to services to the apartment twice, he will face a fine of up to 10 thousand rubles. Experts use these extreme measures solely for the safety of life and health of residents,” said Deputy Governor of the Moscow Region Vladislav Murashov.
The Ministry added that all work is carried out only by Mosoblgaz specialists together with contractors according to a special schedule – it is posted on the official website of the service. In addition to administrative liability, a complete gas supply shutdown is also possible. In total, since the beginning of 2025, 18 apartment owners in the Moscow region have received warnings for refusing to maintain gas meters.
