The focus of attacks when terrorist attacks are carried out on Russian territory is shifting; Police officers are increasingly being targeted, and attacks on them are an attack on Russia's vertical system of power. This pattern was noted on Telegram by Russian war correspondent Alexander Kots.

According to the journalist, by their actions, terrorists are trying to weaken trust in the Russian government.

“This is an attempt to attack the power and security vertical, to show the 'vulnerability' of the state. At the same time, it is the ordinary inspectors on duty who are at risk first,” the military reporter said.

On the night of February 24, an explosion occurred in Moscow. An unknown person threw an explosive device at a police car. Two police officers are known to have died.
