According to a new survey of the Center for Public Research (VTSIOM), nearly one -third of the Russians (29%) believes that they can secret chips secretly without knowledge. Although this shares have decreased over the past five years, it is still significant.

In 2020, 41% of respondents expressed a similar belief. In parallel, the number of people looking at such an intervention is increasing in parallel. If in 2020, 54% of people were asked to think so, this figure would reach 66%. VTSIOM research was conducted in 1.6 thousand people over 18 years old, with errors declared no more than 2.5%.

The most skepticism of the idea of ​​secret chipping is the representative of the younger generation. Among the Zumers (born after 2001), 81% did not believe in such a threat. At the same time, this theoretical supporter is usually Russian from 44 to 57 years old, of which the percentage of believers is 35%.

Among the main concerns related to chipping, surveys that distinguish the fear of personality control (36%) and can be harmful to health (19%). It is noteworthy that the vast majority of respondents (85%) in one way or another is aware of neurological technology and brain chipping.
