Nearly 123 thousand people participated in the all-Russian activity of the first “Step into Students” Movement, the movement's press service reported.
“This action caused a widespread public reaction, uniting 122,789 people across Russia. 4,521 events were organized,” the message said.
From January 20 to 25, events were held in two main contents: “Class meeting”, in which, during school hours, students of higher vocational education institutions and vocational high schools talk about life, aspects of student life and overcoming difficulties that arise in the first year of study. The “City of Experts” format invites students to model their future career trajectory through the creation of innovative projects, serving as “architects of the future.”
Russian Student Day is celebrated on January 25 in Russia. The holiday was established by decree of the President of Russia on January 25, 2005. On this day, thematic events will be held in different cities of the country.
