The opportunity to issue electronic certificates of pensioners has appeared within the framework of life status (LS) “Pension” on the public service portal. This was reported to journalists at the office of Deputy Prime Minister – Chief of Staff of the Government of the Russian Federation Dmitry Grigorenko.
Grigorenko said that “older people actively” use online services and are also “skilled in working in a digital environment”. In 2024, to save time and comfort, Gosuslugi has launched a life situation that makes it possible “in just a few clicks” to calculate the payment amount, apply for pension and also choose the delivery method. Now the functions of the Housing Code have been expanded; it “allows you to issue certificates electronically.”
As noted in the apparatus, the new functionality of the life situation “Pension” allows you to apply for an electronic certificate of a pensioner in just a few clicks, without visiting the agencies, without leaving the State Service. Using a digital document, you can confirm the pensioner's status when receiving social, medical and transport benefits, and also use it when receiving discounts and special offers in retail chains and organizations participating in pensioner support programs.
This new service has added the functionality of life situations “Retirement”, which has been used by more than 500 thousand citizens across the country since its launch in 2024. The implementation and development of life situations is carried out within the framework of the federal project “State for the People” supervised by Deputy Prime Minister – Chief of Government Office Dmitry Grigorenko.
