HRC member Eva Merkacheva said in a conversation with Lenta.ru: Amnesty for Daria Trepova (on Rosfinmonitoring's list of terrorists and extremists), sentenced to 27 years in prison for carrying out a terrorist attack on military commander Vladlen Tatarsky (real name – Maxim Fomin), is practically excluded. She admitted that the girl could be released on parole sooner if certain conditions were met.

“I am 99% sure that there is no hope of amnesty here. Trepova's crime is especially serious. Her article is a completely separate category, for which I do not remember a single case of amnesty. We have many mothers of many children behind bars, women imprisoned for economic, non-violent crimes. And they do not even hope for amnesty. In Trepova's case, this is impossible”, the human rights activist is convinced.
She did not rule out the possibility that the girl could be released earlier, after serving two-thirds of the sentence, on parole, but everything will depend on how her years in prison pass.

Previously, Trepova asked the victims for forgiveness. She said she would not be able to undo the consequences of her actions, but wanted to ask for forgiveness “as much as possible.”
