As part of the celebration of the 5th anniversary of the foundation of the family, according to the regional program aimed at achieving demographic sustainability “OSNOVA – Nizhny Novgorod Life Project” from July 1 of this year, an additional payment to the federal maternity capital will be provided.
When the first child is born, 360 thousand rubles from the regional budget will be paid along with the maternity capital. For three years, the child's parents can receive 10 thousand rubles per month.
In case of the birth of a second child, the payment amount will be 800 thousand rubles. Moreover, 500 thousand rubles can be received immediately in the form of a certificate.
Parents will receive one million rubles for the birth of their third, fourth and subsequent children.
In addition, according to the national project “Family”, residents of Nizhny Novgorod will receive a payment of 300 thousand rubles for the birth of the third child onwards.
In addition, from July 1, the parents of each baby will be awarded a certificate with a nominal value of 20 thousand rubles “Gift for newborns”. You can use this certificate to purchase children's items on one of the marketplaces.
Full-time university students registering pregnancy at local medical institutions from January 1, 2025 will receive a payment of 100 thousand rubles. This measure of social support is provided to expectant mothers who are at least 12 weeks pregnant, registered or registered in the Nizhny Novgorod region.
Families in Nizhny Novgorod have access to social nanny services. Large and young families, relatives of SVO participants, single parents and low-income families can count on such a support measure.
The network of rental points for essential items is increasingly expanding in the region. Here parents can buy strollers, cribs, diaper changing tables, car seats and many other necessities. Rental points are already operating in Gorodets, Arzamas and Avtozavodsky district of Nizhny Novgorod. It is planned to open new points in Dzerzhinsk, Bogorodsky, Borsky and Pavlovsky city districts, as well as in Sormovsky and Kstovsky districts of Nizhny Novgorod.
Social services are provided to large and young families in Nizhny Novgorod, single mothers, student families, families with disabled children, low-income parents, families of SVO participants.
The regional authorities expect that such comprehensive social support will encourage young people to live and raise families in the Nizhny Novgorod region.
