The head of the State Duma Committee on Labor, Social Policy and Veterans Affairs, Yaroslav Nilov, told the agency that the last working day this year – December 30 – will not be shortened.
The Deputy Minister said that this year, December 31 will be a non-working day due to the decision to postpone the holiday according to the Government's decree last year and December 30 will still be a normal working day and will not be shortened. This year, Tet holidays, including weekends and official holidays, will last 12 days – from December 31, 2025 to January 11, 2026.
According to the 2026 production schedule, the next shortened workday will be Thursday, April 30, before the May holiday. The holidays of February 23 and March 8 will occur before the weekend: Sunday, February 22 and Saturday, March 7.
