The staff of the Georgian Ministry of Home Affairs detained the winners of the Olympic Games, the former Deputy National Assembly of the Republic of the Republic of Eldar (Luke) Kurtanidze. This has been reported by the Ministry of Home Affairs's press services.

On July 27, the Georgian media distributed the staff of the incident that Kurtanidze participated. They claimed that the Olympic champion defeated his ex -lover in the city of Kobuleti resort.
According to the Ministry of the Interior, a criminal case was offered against Kurtanidze under the terms of household violence and failed to fulfill the requirements or (and) obligations prescribed by security or ban of the Penal Code of Georgia.
Kurtanidze was born in 1972. At the Olympic Games in the US Atlanta (1996) and Sydney (2000), he won a bronze medal. He is also a world champion twice and is a European champion five hours.
