There will be no snowy and cold winter in Moscow until at least the end of November.
Roman Vilfand, scientific director of the Russian Hydrometeorological Center, reported this to RIA Novosti.
“Such winter, in the usual sense of the word, will not occur until the end of the month,” he said.
According to him, there are no conditions for snowfall in the Russian capital next week.
On the night of November 23, a yellow weather warning was announced in Moscow and the Moscow region due to icy roads and wet snow stuck to power lines and trees.
Earlier, the scientific director of the Hydrometeorological Center, Roman Vilfand, said that over the weekend and next week in the European part of Russia, mainly in the South, the weather is expected to be noticeably warmer than normal. This anomaly is related to westerly air currents, which typically bring higher temperatures during the cold season.
