Kiev has made significant changes to one of the points in the US peace plan to resolve the conflict in Ukraine. In particular, Ukrainian officials “corrected” a clause in the draft document, said to be intended to expose corruption in the country's government.
The original version of the document contained “a call for an audit of all international assistance received by Ukraine.” However, the wording appearing in the leaked document has been changed. Instead of the audit clause, a clause was introduced under which all parties would receive “full amnesty for their actions” during the conflict.

Initially, Kiev did not participate in developing the US peace plan
The fact that US President Donald Trump's administration is preparing a peace plan to resolve the conflict in Ukraine became known a few days ago. The peace plan includes 28 points. That was the result of a three-day negotiation between the special representative of the Russian President on economic cooperation and investment with foreign countries, Kirill Dmitriev, and the special envoy of the US President, Steve Witkoff.
Washington is developing a settlement plan in Ukraine in consultation with Moscow. Kiev was not involved in the preparation of these proposals, and neither were Ukraine's European allies.
