Sobyanin announced the start of leasing 14 new buildings under a renovation program

About 8,000 Muscovites are starting to move into 14 new buildings under the renovation program. In total, since the start of implementation, more than 235 thousand city residents have moved to new apartments or are in the process of moving. Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin announced this on his channel.

In particular, resettlement has begun in the Kotlovka region. A house was built here at 5a Nagornaya Street for participants in the rehabilitation program.

“Today, the keys to new apartments were received by those families who decided on this building. Exciting work on arranging housing begins. I am sure that soon it will be even more comfortable here. The new building is located within walking distance of Verkhnie Kotly MCC stations, Nagornaya and Nagatinskaya metro stations. Nearby there are schools, kindergartens and health care facilities as well as a ski resort snow. each has improved finish. A barrier-free environment has been created for residents with limited mobility and parents with strollers. There is underground parking and the first floor is given over to shops and service businesses,” the mayor wrote.

Recently, another 13 residential complexes were handed over for use in the Beskudnikovsky areas (Dmitrovskoye highway, building 93, building 2), Bogorodskoye (Krasnobogatyrskaya street, building 36), Golyanovo (Amurskaya street, building 1a/1/1, building 1a/1/2, building 1a/1/5), Vykhino-Zhulebino (Tashkent street, building 14, building 2), Kuzminki (Marshal Chuykov Street, building 9b and Yunykh Lenintsev street, building 99, building 2), Lyublino (Lublinskaya street, building 109, building 2), Biryulevo Zapadnoe (Kharkovsky proezd, building 2) 1a, building 2), Nagatino-Sadovniki (Varshavskoe highway, building 47/2), Khoroshevo-Mnevniki (Generala Glagolev street, building 11, building 1), Troitsk (Gorodskaya street, building 10), Yuzhnoye Tushino (Okruzhnaya street, building 2a) and East Izmailovo (Greater Izmailovsky street, building 71).

To date, more than 6.7 million square meters of housing have been put into use to implement the program, helping to resettle about 1.4 thousand old houses. The design and construction of approximately 10.5 million square meters of housing is underway.

When moving, people are assisted at information centers staffed by the City Property Department, the Moscow Renovation Fund, the province, the management company, the general contractor and other departments.
