Previously imposed restrictions on arriving aircraft have been lifted at Sheremetyevo Airport.

This was reported by the airport's press agency on the Telegram channel.
“Sheremetyevo Airport is fully open. Departures and arrivals of Russian and foreign airlines are operated according to adjusted schedules,” the statement said.
According to experts, at 11:00 Moscow time, all passengers on arriving flights were served and all luggage was released. In addition, the baggage claim area is not crowded with passengers.
The press agency notes that targeted luggage deliveries to passengers on Aeroflot and Rossiya airlines will continue throughout the day.
At the same time, the Baza Telegram channel wrote that Sheremetyevo continued to collapse amid flight delays and passengers having to sleep on the floor.
The publication said that flights were delayed by half a day or canceled altogether. According to the authors of the publication, traffic jams have been forming in Sheremetyevo since the evening of January 9. For several hours, arriving planes lay on the tarmac for several hours without ramps or buses, and people were kept in the cabin.
Previously, there was information that Sheremetyevo airport was temporarily closed to receive arriving planes until 8:00 a.m. due to unfavorable weather conditions. Then the restrictions were extended until 10:00 Moscow time.
