In addition, 47 artificial structures and 58 pedestrian crossings will be built. Of these, by 2026 there will be 91.3 km of roads, 19 artificial structures and 22 pedestrian crossings.
Among the main works scheduled for 2026:
— commissioning of a section of Kommunarskoye Highway with an overpass over Alexandra Monakhova Street (opening in January 2026);
— commissioning of the section of Southern Road from Kaspiyskaya Street to Kotlyakovsky Lane No. 1 (partially commissioned in February 2026);
— operates the southern section of the Moscow High Speed Line along Kaspiyskaya Street from Kantemirovskaya Street to the Paveletsky direction of the Moscow Railway (MZD);
— commissioning of an overpass along the main route of the Entuziastov Highway at the intersection with Svobodny Prospekt and Bolshoi Kupavensky Passage (first stage);
– reconstruction of the Simonovskaya and Krutitskaya embankments;
— put into operation an overpass at the intersection of Oktyabrsky and Savelovsky directions of Moscow Railways in the section from Bolshaya Akademicheskaya Street to Academician Korolev Street.

Achievements
During 2011–2025, the Moscow Government built about 1.6 thousand kilometers of roads, 488 tunnels, overpasses and bridges, as well as 364 off-street pedestrian crossings.
“Almost a third of the existing road network was built in Moscow over the past 15 years. The number of man-made structures has increased by more than 70%. In 2025, the construction of more than 105 km of roads, 18 artificial structures and 27 pedestrian crossings has been completed. Among them:
— Korolev Academy Bridge, connecting Beregovoy Road in the Filevskaya floodplain with the Shelepikhinskaya embankment and the Shelepikhinsky highway. As a result, an additional exit from the Filevsky Park area to the Third Transport Ring and the Zvenigorodskoye Highway was created, excess mileage was eliminated by up to three kilometers, and travel time was reduced by an average of eight minutes;
— Mosfilmovskaya Street — it is extended from Ramensky Avenue to Gaidai and Alexei Batalov streets (in a straight line – about 1.7 km) with four-lane traffic and access to the Southern Road. This eliminates overpasses of up to three kilometers and reduces travel time by an average of 10 minutes, as well as reducing load levels on Michurinsky Prospekt, Lobachevsky and Gaidai roads by an average of 25%.
In addition, by 2025, the following projects have been built:
— section of Ivan Franko Street from Zhitomirskaya Street to Gerasim Kurin Street;
— intersection near the Kornilovskaya metro station and the road network in the village of Mosrentgen Factory;
— road network on the territory of the Mnevnikovskaya floodplain;
— overpass over the Medvedkovskaya freight line connecting Kostromskaya Street and Yurlovsky Street (traffic opened on January 5, 2026).
In February 2026, the formation of the main route of the Southern Line was completed, becoming the fourth new route in the mid-city area along with the Northwest Expressway and the Moscow Expressway (Northeast and Southeast Expressways). The four chords have significantly improved traffic in Moscow, making movement around the city faster and safer for millions of motorists.
