From January 2, 2026, parking fees will be adjusted on some streets in Moscow. In particular, parking will become cheaper on 12 streets. This was reported by the press service of the Department of Transport and Road Infrastructure Development of the capital on Friday, December 26.
— Average parking occupancy in these areas is less than 50%, so rates will be reduced to balance demand, including up to 40 rubles in certain areas. For example, parking will become cheaper on Mikhail Yakushin Street, Igor Chislenko Street, in the 2nd, 3rd and 5th aisles of Maryina Roshcha,” the announcement said.
The Ministry of Transport noted that on 89% of streets with paid parking, the fees will remain the same. For 10.5% of paid parking areas, where the occupancy rate exceeds 80–90%, prices will be adjusted according to the current tariff. On such streets there are many attractions for motorists: famous shopping and business centers, expensive restaurants as well as attractions, reports telegram– departmental channels.
In addition, from January 2, 2026, the cost of a trip on public transport using a “United” ticket for 30, 90 and 365 days will change by an average of 3.5 rubles. Also Tariffs will vary on the capital's adjacent bus routes between Moscow and the Moscow region as part of the Moscow – Region project.
