Moscow residents were reminded of the fine for setting off fireworks on New Year's Day

The press service of the General Directorate of Internal Affairs of Russia in Moscow reported this. They noted that residents and visitors of the capital are advised not to use fireworks due to an increasing number of provocative cases involving the use of fireworks.

“You should limit launching it indoors, from balconies and hallways, near residential buildings and over any transport infrastructure,” the citation says.

Former honored rescuer of Russia Sergei Shchetinin in conversation with RT gives recommendations to Russians on the safe use of fireworks.
