The press service of the Moscow Department of Transport and Road Infrastructure Development reported that cruise ships will make more than 10 trips from the capital to Russian cities before the end of the river traffic season.

Deputy Mayor of Transport and Industry Maxim Liksutov added that the last cruise ship will depart from North River Station on November 10.
“We continue to develop the North and South River Stations as important transport platforms on behalf of Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin,” Liksutov noted.
Before the end of the season, the ships will reach Nizhny Novgorod, Tver, Ples, Yaroslavl and other tourist centers of Russia. One of the most popular routes is the exclusive journey of the Moscow Golden Ring through Yaroslavl, Pereslavl-Zalessky, Rostov and Suzdal.
During the maritime season, ships depart from the North and South river wharves. Passengers are offered an extended excursion program with visits to the main attractions, you can view the departure schedule and buy tickets on the website or offices of tour operators at river stations.
In addition, their territory is landscaped so that passengers can rest comfortably – the buildings have comfortable waiting rooms, ticket offices, restaurants and information desks. Modern elevators and ramps are equipped for guests with limited mobility.
River wharfs are also popular locations for celebrating the city's holidays and festivals.
Before that, it became known that in Moscow they began preparing regular river trams for the winter. In winter, icebreakers are provided support on river routes. To do this, all systems are inspected at the terminal and the availability of necessary equipment is monitored. Attention is also paid to the anti-icing system.
