Forecaster at the Meteo forecasting center Alexander Ilyin said that the Moscow region is forecast to have cold weather in the coming days.

In a conversation with the online publication “Moscow Region Today”, the expert said that on Wednesday, January 14, it will be cloudy, in many places there will be light at night and moderate snow during the day.
“Across the region at night -13…-8 °C, in some places up to -18 °C, during the day -10…-5 °C. Wind northwest, 2-7 m/s,” Ilyin said.
It was the turn of the head of the Meteo forecasting center, Alexander Shuvalov, in the conversation with “Radio 1” note that the main January storm in the metropolitan area is behind us.
“Now there will be three times less rain. There will be light snow through Wednesday, but in the 1-3 mm range,” he said.
Previously, leading researcher at the Pushchino Scientific Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences, climatologist Alexey Karnaukhov forecastthat weather abnormalities in the capital area will occur more frequently.
