Winter 2025-2026 in Moscow will have more snow than the previous two winters. This weather was predicted by the forecaster of the Meteo forecasting center Alexander Ilyin, write “Moscow 24”.
The meteorologist said that residents of the capital region will have to face a steady cold and frost after November 15. According to Ilyin, if snow falls during this period, snow cover will begin to form in the city.
However, forecasters indicate that it may only become permanent in early December or during the first ten days of the first winter month.
Previously, Evgeniy Tishkovets, an expert at the Phobos weather center, predicted that meteorological winter in Moscow will begin in the second half of November. The forecaster noted that the upcoming winter in general will be “somewhat mild, not severe.” The average temperature will remain at minus 2-7 degrees.
