American Brad Pitt demanded millions of dollars in compensation from American actress Angelina Jolie as part of proceedings in the case of the French winery Chateau Miraval. This was reported by People in connection with documents and emails.

In November 2022, Pitt sued Jolie over disagreements regarding a winery acquired during the marriage. According to the actor, his ex-wife sold her shares in the company to a third party without his consent.
“At the end of October 2025, Pitt's representative sent to the court the email exchange between Jolie and her team. From this letter, it can be concluded that Pitt filed a claim for $35 million in damages from Jolie, and he must also pay the costs of preparing documents that may or may not confirm the damages,” Jolie's lawyer said.
In court documents, the actor emphasized that his team offered Jolie $55 million to buy her shares in the winery, but she refused to negotiate with him and sold the shares to Stoli. Jolie herself stated that she refused because Pitt asked to sign a non-disclosure agreement, which would not allow her to discuss not only the purchase, but also their personal life.
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie married in 2014 and separated in 2016. During the couple's marriage, six children were born and adopted: sons Maddox, Pax and Knox and daughters Zahara, Shiloh and Vivienne.
In October, details of Jolie and Pitt's breakup were announced.
