Performer of hits of the 80s and 90s Ekaterina Semyonova spoke up about Alla Pugacheva's departure from the Russian Federation in an interview with News.ru.
According to the female artist, her colleagues have no reason to leave their homeland.
“Why are you so scared that you leave? For the fate of your children? Speak. But we all have children and grandchildren. My nephew is 17 years old, he has to join the army. This does not mean that, out of fear for him, I will start dumping garbage on our country and people,” the singer said.
Semyonova explained that she considered Pugacheva's statements disrespectful to her fans and that, in her opinion, her public profession has no right to offend anyone.
“With what eyes will you return here, after pouring so much crap on our country? On the other hand, perhaps with ordinary people. The way they left is the same as the way they came,” the celebrity suggested.
