WHEN AND WHEN WILL THE 2026 MINIMUM WAGE BE ANNOUNCED?
The third meeting on the minimum wage, which will take effect in 2026, will be held at 6 p.m. today. 5 representatives from the government and 5 representatives from the employer will attend the 3rd meeting.
The new minimum wage increase is expected to be announced by Minister of Labor and Social Security Vedat Işıkhan.

WHAT IS THE CURRENT MINIMUM WAGE?
The minimum wage currently applied is 26 thousand 5 liras and 50 kuruş gross per month per worker, and 22 thousand 104 liras and 67 kuruş net with deductions.
The total minimum wage costs that employers must pay are 30 thousand 621 liras and 48 kuruş per worker. Of these, 26 thousand 5 lira and 50 cents is the total minimum wage, 4 thousand 95 lira and 87 cents are social insurance fees, and 520 lira and 11 cents are the employer's unemployment insurance fund.
