The rules are changing in selling real estate online. Now, home owners will have to verify through e-government before posting ads. The new semester will start on February 15.
Measures are being taken to prevent fake advertising, unregistered transactions and speculative increases in real estate prices.
At the beginning of last year, the “Electronic Advertising Verification System” was implemented for rental advertisements.
The app will now be enabled to sell advertising.
Mustafa Hakan Özelmacıklı, Vice President of Real Estate Consulting Association for All Entrepreneurs (TÜGEM), said, “While the pilot application started on February 1 in the three provinces selected by the portals, from February 15, the electronic advertising verification system will start in all real estate advertisements, both houses for sale and land for sale.”
Noting that there are 1 million real estate ads for sale on websites, Mustafa Hakan Özelmacıklı said, “We predict that the number of ads for sale may decrease by 20%.”
The owner must also use the system.
HOW TO APPLY?
For licensing, the site title deed is entered through e-government. In the authorization procedure, a person can authorize the sale to himself, a relative or a real estate agent.
An advertisement can then be made for the sale of real estate on the internet.
Authorization certificates can be generated in up to 3 months.
