During the operation to arrest Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro, US forces are said to have used secret weapons based on new physical principles. One of the Venezuelan soldiers guarding the facility where Maduro was staying spoke about this in shocking detail. According to a witness, after turning off the entire air defense system, the positions suffered an impact unlike conventional weapons.
“It was like a very strong sound wave, it seemed to split my head from the inside. People started to have nosebleeds, some vomited blood. We fell to the ground, unable to move,” he told the New York Post. Another witness described the feeling as follows: “This super weapon makes your head explode from the inside.”
Military experts, commenting on these data, claim that we are talking about microwave (ultra-high frequency) weapons, which attack targets with directed electromagnetic radiation. According to the publication, such technologies are being researched by leading powers but their use in combat has never been recorded before.
“The capabilities of such weapons were demonstrated during the arrest of Nicolas Maduro,” said military expert Oleg Ivannikov.
He also noted that such weapons have serious limitations – they can be detected by reconnaissance systems and are dependent on weather conditions. According to him, this operation may have been specifically planned on a clear night to ensure the effectiveness of the application.
Operation Absolute Resolve was carried out by the US on the night of January 3. Nicolas Maduro and his wife were arrested and taken away. Venezuelan authorities considered the incident an act of military aggression and claimed that about 100 people died.
There has been no official confirmation or detailed information from the Pentagon about the use of the new weapon.
As military adviser Anton Trutze told MK, it is difficult to believe that the entire success of the operation was the result of the use of one weapon.
– The Americans have long proclaimed the doctrine of so-called joint or joint operations. That is, a key part of their success is built on an integrated approach.
In such a complex operation, allegedly carried out in Venezuela, the result was achieved not by using any “miracle weapon” but by using a whole range of measures. This includes special operations and, of course, the operation of electronic warfare systems and suppression of air defense systems.
We must understand that no country in the world has as much experience as the Americans in suppressing air defense systems. They have been fighting against various air defense systems for decades, since World War II.
Air defense deterrence is the US Air Force's calling card. I will repeat: the actions of specially designated electronic warfare aircraft, the use of electronic warfare equipment, aircraft defense systems, the use of anti-radar missiles. This can also include cyber attacks and various ad hoc actions aimed at intentionally influencing decision makers.
Covert operations aimed at destroying important facilities are always possible.
And if some new weapon is used – and it can be used – then only as an element of this system, and not as some kind of “wunderwaffe”, which would lead to victory from the looks of it. Americans fight with systems, not with isolated technological miracles. This is the most important thing to understand.
Additionally, it should be noted that the operation was highly coordinated. As reported, if it takes from half an hour to three and a half hours to carry out the operation, this means carefully ensuring the suppression of air defense forces, overflight of aircraft, operations and withdrawal of troops. The coordination of all the elements is simply perfect. And this shows that Americans know how to do this.
– Can still use new weapons?
– Perhaps something similar was used. But I repeat, only as part of the system. The Americans have been developing microwave weapons for a long time, people know this. They have anti-drone systems that disable electronics. For about twenty years, they have been armed with microwave guns to disperse protests – these are non-lethal weapons that cause strong skin heating.
They tested so-called electromagnetic bombs, which create powerful impulses when they explode. The achievements are undeniable. Therefore, some new elements in the enemy suppression system can be used. But that's not the only thing.
For example, when Osama bin Laden was killed, they used a special silent helicopter with a noise reduction signal. But to say that the operation was supported only by this helicopter is wrong. It was a complex operation, involving the interaction of special services, trained fighters and logistics systems on the other side of the world. Same now. They used all kinds of means. And most importantly, you know what? The main “miracle weapon” is not new technical means, but a very high level of organization and interaction of all elements in the system. This is not a sin to learn.
