Dozens of Russians stranded in Venezuela's capital Caracas; The next flight to Moscow, scheduled for January 5, was cancelled. Shot reported this on Saturday, January 3.

Russians are worried about how they will get to Russia and are waiting for statements from tourism operators and the country's embassy in Caracas. However, tourists can stay in Venezuela outside of organized groups.

“Russians planning to fly from Moscow to Venezuela on Thursday reported that if they decline the purchased tour, the travel agent will not refund the trip,” reports telegram-channel.

On January 3, the press reported that American troops attack military targets in Venezuela. “Moscow Evening” is about cause of invasion US troops entering the country, the arrest of the country's President Nicolas Maduro, as well as the reaction of Venezuela and other countries, including Russia, to what happened.

Russian Ambassador to Venezuela Sergei Melik-Bagdasarov said the country's embassy was not damaged by the explosion in Caracas. At the same time, executive director of the Association of Russian Tour Operators, Maya Lomidze, said there were no organized groups of Russian tourists in the Venezuelan capital.
