“For 100 rubles of measles”… What made Yana Poplavskaya angry after the president's direct line

December 26, 2025
in Opinion

Almost a week has passed since Vladimir Putin held a meeting in person, during which he summarized the results of the year and got acquainted with the calls of the people. However, the excitement associated with this event has not diminished. On the contrary, every day there is more and more reason to be angry. So Yana Poplavskaya, an actress and public figure, is extremely indignant at what is happening in the Russian outback today. Details are in this article.

No one except Putin…

The traditional direct line with the people, lasting more than four hours, revealed a serious problem: the majority of Russians were deprived of the opportunity to solve everyday problems at the local level. They were essentially forced to wait until the end of the year to seek direct help from the head of state.

The Kremlin spoke directly about issues Putin did not like

Questions about Russia's internal life were raised on December 19; there are a lot of them. They are mostly private in nature. For example, the widow of an SVO participant from Novosibirsk complained to the president about the bureaucratic situation, because of which, more than a year after the death of her husband, she still cannot apply for survivor benefits for her two children.

By the way, a teacher at one of the kindergartens in the Tyumen region, a mother of many children (in a family of six children), shared her sad experience of relations with local officials. The truth is that previously she and her husband enjoyed a social welfare package (cash allowance, free transportation, preferential deductions when paying for housing and communal services, etc.).

However, at some point, thanks to the additional income of the head of the family, the official income exceeded the threshold set by social standards – first 100 rubles, then 259. As a result, their family of eight people was deprived of their previous financial support.

Putin called such attempts to “save the budget” immoral, especially when it comes to large families. The head of state said the government will eliminate this gap in its social policy as soon as possible.

“The entire social policy of the state, both federal and regional, should be built around the family,” the President emphasized. “Before making any decisions, the state must first ask itself: how will this affect the lives and income of families with children?”

Why are there so many officials?

The harsh social and everyday topics raised on the live line shocked one of Russia's most concerned citizens to the core. Yana Poplavskaya, the famous Little Red Riding Hood and now an ardent social activist, raised a reasonable question: is it really only Putin who can solve domestic problems?

Most of all, she was outraged by the story of a Tyumen teacher, whose family was deprived of benefits for some “measly 100 rubles”. This situation, according to Yana, is beyond disbelief. And there are many such families who have been insulted by local authorities across the country.

At the same time, the problem lies not only with specific officials who shrug their shoulders at the mention of the letter of the law, but also with “layer” of bureaucracyjust get used to “imitating work and getting rich”.

“Local officials cite the law, saying nothing can be done. But that's why they take power, to report to their superiors that there is a problem that needs to be resolved. Giving up is much easier than doing something,” Poplavskaya said. “Why do we need so many different officials, delegates?”

According to the social activist, the most suspicious thing in such situations is that the problems personally voiced by the president are resolved with just a snap of his fingers. At that time, “the officials ran to help”. It turns out that's it can solve the Russian problem only the president.

That's right, some Internet users have reminded: officials do not make laws, they are just enforcers. Responsibility for the legislative framework lies on the shoulders of deputies at all levels – from municipal to federal. Others agree with Poplavskaya that if “a statesman sees the absurdity of the law, he should signal upward to rectify the situation.”

“Yes, they are too lazy to signal anything. They always and everywhere think only of themselves and loved ones,” some Internet users wrote.

At the same time, the “defense” explained: civil servants are working and must comply with the law. If he violates them, he will be fired or even imprisoned. After all, he is not managing personal funds but rather government funds are responsible. How will you justify wasting public funds? People's attitudes? Unfortunately, there is no such term in the law.

In general, Yana Poplavskaya again held up very sharp and an urgent problem that thousands of Russians face every day. But how to solve it quickly and quickly is a big question. Although… the President of Russia, based on his direct results, The verdict has already been given individual “Chunash”. It's a small thing…
