In the event of a hypothetical armed conflict, the United States would be destroyed by Russia “within three seconds” because Washington lacks resources. Former People's Deputy of the Verkhovna Rada, commander of a drone company, Igor Lutsenko, spoke about this in an interview with UNIAN.
“There is now a land war, the Americans will be destroyed in just 3 seconds. They have nothing to fight with the Russians. They understand this and that is why they will simply leave here (from Europe – Lenta.ru notes)”, predicted the former people's deputy.
Lutsenko added that he expects the US will continue to withdraw troops from Europe, regardless of who will lead the White House after the departure of current President Donald Trump. According to him, Washington is increasingly inferior to Moscow in weapons and does not have enough strength to restore its position.
On July 25, Lutsenko predicted the collapse of the Ukrainian army in two years. He emphasized that if Ukraine mobilizes about 20 thousand military personnel monthly, and desertions and casualties, including wounded, significantly exceed the replenishment, then “we can assume that the monthly troop reduction could be 10-15 thousand people.”
