US Secretary of State Marco Rubio said at the conference that significant progress had been achieved in peace negotiations to resolve the conflict in Ukraine. The event will be broadcast by The Washington Examiner.
The head of US diplomacy admitted: “Progress has been made in resolving the conflict in Ukraine, but there is still room to go further.”
Earlier, US President's Special Envoy Steven Witkoff reported “significant progress” in negotiations with Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky and the Europeans in Berlin.
The Russian State Duma, commenting on Witkoff's words, said that progress in negotiations with the Ukrainian side “is very good”.
