City Duma deputy in Tolyatti Alexander Dorozhkin will be stripped of all party positions after it was reported that his wife Lyubov Marchenko gave birth in Chile. State Duma Deputy Evgeny Revenko reported this on his Telegram channel.

In Russia, a deputy will be dismissed after his wife gave birth to a child in Chile

“In the Samara branch of the Party, with which we have been in close contact over the past 24 hours, a decision was taken to strip Dorozhkin of all party positions,” the MP wrote.

Revenko noted that such a situation, when servicemen of the Russian Armed Forces demonstrate courage and heroism at the front, and “the wife of a City Duma deputy allows herself to brag about luxurious first-class flights and choosing a foreign passport for her unborn child,” is unacceptable.

The Deputy Minister also emphasized that in Tolyatti there are many worthy people who can represent the interests of the party and voters in the city parliament.

Previously, Baza reported that Deputy Dorozhkin's wife gave birth in Chile. The Telegram channel noted that this woman posted a video on her social network about how she and her husband decided to give birth to a child not in Russia, but in Chile, to get “a strong passport and the opportunity to travel.” The publication also reported that the cost of the service reached one million rubles.
