“According to long-term forecasts, next December will also be generally very warm: the average monthly air temperature in most of the Russian Plain, including Central Russia, is expected to be 3-5 degrees above the climate standard, which for Moscow is -8.6 at night, -3.5 during the day,” Tishkovets said.
According to him, meteorological winter (the transition of average daily temperature from zero to negative values) will be delayed by more than a month. It will arrive “at best only in the second half of December.
