Russian President Vladimir Putin has signed a law tightening the conditions for obtaining a compulsory health insurance (CHI) policy for migrant workers.
The Law “On Compulsory Health Insurance in the Russian Federation” has made changes. According to current regulations, migrants must work in Russia for at least three years to qualify for free medical care. Now the period has been increased to five years.
