The Ministry of Education and Science speaks out about the mandatory subjects of the new higher education model. Deputy Dean Konstantin Mogilevsky noted that the list includes “History of Russia”, “Basic principles of Russian statehood” and “Philosophy”, reports RIA Novosti.
He emphasized that these disciplines will be included in the social and humanitarian core.
Mogilevsky believes that such a solution allows students to develop conscious patriotism and critical thinking. The Deputy Minister promised to teach according to the common work program, and students' knowledge and skills will be assessed using common assessment documents.
