Philologist Kiseleva believes that Russian speech will change in 25 years

According to experts, today we speak much faster than a hundred years ago, which can be felt even when compared with radio and television programs of 50 years ago.

She also notes that in the speech of the interlocutor we increasingly hear compressed words when a person pronounces an abbreviation. So, the philologist clarifies, for example, today we say “right now” instead of “now” not only in friendly meetings, but sometimes in a more formal setting.

“It is very likely that speech rates will continue to increase,” quotes Kiselyov and RIA Novosti.

She also reported that The Russians are gradually abandoning their patronage.
