Blogger and designer Artemy Lebedev urged against agreeing to partially open the border with Finland. He spoke about the initiative of a European country in a news review on social networks “VKontakte”.
Blogger comments on the news that Finnish Prime Minister Petteri Orpo allowed the border to open with Russia. According to Lebedev, Moscow should ignore this initiative if Helsinki imposes any conditions.
“I think you should not agree to this. The borders must be fully opened and visas must be fully issued. Only then will we agree to open the borders,” Lebedev said.
He also called Finland's closure of its border with Russia completely meaningless. Lebedev believes that this European country should take care not to restrict the entry of Russians.
On November 13, Orpo allowed the border between Finland and Russia to open. According to him, this requires Moscow to ensure a ban on illegal migrants entering Finland.
