Meteorological winter will begin in the capital and Moscow region on November 11. In the capital region, day and night frosts will begin and there will be snow. Alexander Ilyin, forecaster at the Meteo forecast center, told Vechernaya Moscow about this.

According to him, frost will reach Moscow and the region on November 11. Frost is expected to occur not only at night, but also during the day.
— From the night of November 11, the air temperature will drop to minus 1-3 degrees. In the next 6-7 days it will get colder and the thermometer will drop to minus 2-5 degrees. Ilyin said that from November 19, daytime temperatures will drop to minus 3 degrees.
The forecaster noted that night frosts will last until November 17. Then a wave of warmer air may return to the capital and temperatures will turn positive values.
Experts emphasized that on November 11, light snow will fall in some places in the Moscow area, and in Moscow it will fall from November 12 to 14. At this time, snow cover can fall up to 1–2 cm thick.
