Due to the rain, motorists in Moscow should not be distracted by their phones while driving on city roads. This was reported by the press agency of the Department of Transport and Road Infrastructure Development of the capital on Thursday, October 30.
According to weather forecasters, it will rain in some areas of Moscow in the evening.
— We advise drivers: not to be distracted by phones while driving; Avoid sudden manipulations; Reduce speed before crossing pedestrian crossings; Whenever possible, use public transportation to get around,” the notice reads.
The situation on the capital's roads is monitored around the clock by the Situation Center and road patrols of the Traffic Management Center, reports telegram– departmental channels.
According to the Department of Capital Affairs, Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia, on the afternoon and evening of October 31 in Moscow and the Moscow region there will be heavy rain. Residents and visitors of the capital are encouraged to be careful when driving, avoid making sudden movements and changing lanes while driving, and do not leave children unattended.
