National tennis player Zeliha Nil Çukurluoğlu became the champion in the European Junior Tournament held in Monaco.
According to a statement by the Turkish Tennis Federation, Zeliha Nil Çukurluoğlu took to the court in the organization's under-14 age group in Monte Carlo. The national athlete defeated her Danish opponent Emilia Henningsen 2-1 on clay in the final in sets 2-6, 6-2, 6-1, claiming Türkiye's first title at this level. This young athlete also put his name among the names that made history at the same tournament, after Rafael Nadal, who became champion in the U14 men's category in 2000.
