The State Duma proposed increasing payments to teachers for classroom management. According to , such an initiative was taken by Anna Skroznikova, an education committee member.
Now teachers in small cities and towns receive 10 thousand rubles a month, and in large settlements – five thousand. The Deputy Minister believes that this difference needs to be eliminated: either set the single payment amount to 10 thousand rubles, or index this amount to 7 thousand 100 rubles. According to her, this will increase the prestige of the profession and help retain staff in the school.
